What is a UAV or Drone?
An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone and referred to as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), is an aircraft without a human pilot aboard. A UAV or sometimes known as a drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle used to do take images or videos from the air.
Are these things Safe?
Yes, they are very safe and stable. However, with flying remote aircraft safety precautions are taken before each flight and an initial property survey is taken to ensure we can fly safely around a property. We never fly over people or take the aircraft out of sight.
How long does it take to shoot the Images?
This can depend on the size of the property and the scope of the work defined by you the client. For images it takes about two to three hours.
What do I need to do prior to the filming?
Be sure your property is in a showing condition before filming begins. Clean up the area around the property as much as possible. Clear anything that could draw attention away from the property itself. You want the viewer to be focused on the great view of the property.
